I had this odd question about how gun sales are impacted by a bad economy. So I generated some research from the mainstream media. And this is what I found.

Finally, the arms trade has also had a significant impact on the global economy. According to Global Issues, some governments spend more on military expenditure than on social development, communications infrastructure and health combined.^[4]
