Ritchson will be starring alongside Hilary Swank in the upcoming movie “Ordinary Angels,” which is being produced by the successful faith-based production company, Kingdom Story Company. The movie is based on a true story about a hairdresser named Sharon Stevens who helps a widower and his family during a difficult time.
Ritchson, who is a Christian, believes that God uses broken people to accomplish His will and that this story is a great example of that. He recognizes that some studio executives may only care about the financial success of faith-based movies, but he believes that supporting these films can have a powerful impact.
When Christians support these movies, it can create a groundswell that changes things in Hollywood in a meaningful way.
Ritchson also struggles with bipolar disorder and has a YouTube channel called Instachurch, where he shares his thoughts on scripture and how it can relate to our lives today. His latest video, posted on Easter Sunday, discusses the powerful message of Easter and how it reveals our true identity.
