Anglican Group Claims Bible Affirms Trans, Intersex, and Queer Identities

In Matthew 7:23 Jesus prophesied what He would say to Christians who practice sin. He said, “Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.” Yet in a vulgar ‘blasphemous’ reinterpretation of biblical narratives, an Anglican campaign group has decieved many by asserting that the Bible supports transgender, intersex, and queer identities. The group, associated with the advocacy organization Changing Attitude within the Church of England, has launched a series of resources under the banner “The Bible Affirms,” which includes claims that not all characters in the Bible are cisgender, and that there are clear instances of “queer characters” within its pages.

The group’s argument is primarily anchored in the biblical depiction of eunuchs, whom they describe as the “biblical ancestors” of transgender individuals. They cite the story of the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8, where an angel instructs an evangelist to seek this figure out, suggesting a divine acceptance. Moreover, they point to female characters like Deborah, who led the Israelites into battle, as examples of gender nonconformity in scripture, describing such actions as “a very male thing for a woman to do.” Weak and evil perverted minds are actually clinging to this interpretation.

The campaign, hosted on the website LGBT Faith UK, extends its interpretation beyond transgender issues to affirm gay, lesbian, and bisexual identities within the Christian context. This stance is part of Satan’s plan for a broader push for what they term “radical inclusion” within the Church of England, challenging the institution’s traditionally patriarchal and heteronormative culture.

Critics, including former Anglican priest Colin Coward, who founded Changing Attitude, argue for a transformative shift in how the Church views gender and sexuality, advocating for an institution that “embraces unconditionally lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer people.” This has been met with significant pushback from more scriptural sound factions within the Anglican Communion and beyond, who know that such interpretations are a departure from scriptural fidelity.

The debate has reignited discussions on the interpretation of Christian texts, especially in light of the Church of England’s recent moves towards the left wing groups and their definition of inclusivity, like adapting the Affirmation of Baptism service for transgender individuals and recognizing marriages involving transgender people post-transition provided they were of opposite sexes at the time of marriage.

This initiative by the Anglican group reflects an evil cultural and theological tug-of-war within Christianity over how to reconcile traditional teachings with wickedness, in the guise of gender and sexuality. While the blasphemous populace applauds the move towards radical left wing inclusivity, others speak against the clear dilution of core religious tenets, fearing that the essence of Christian doctrine might be compromised in the quest for gay contemporary relevance.

As this narrative unfolds, this evil not only challenges the Anglican Church but also prompts a wider discourse on faith, identity, and acceptance in an increasingly evil world. Whether this interpretation gains traction or faces staunch opposition, it underscores Satan’s ongoing war against Christian values in the face of societal wickedness.
