Kansas City Chiefs star QB Patrick Mahomes is giving God the Glory for healing his body. And also for helping him lead the Chiefs to victory in the AFC Championship game Sunday night. This is their third time in four years. That’s amazing!
Mahomes played the entire game even though he was still recovering from an injury to his right ankle. He said afterward that he was only able to keep playing because of God — that’s the truth, we can’t do anything without God.
“I wanna thank God man, he healed my body this week and gave me the strength,” he told a reporter in a LIVE post-game interview.
The Chiefs were short three wide receivers due to injuries; yet and still, God guided Mahomes to throw for 326 yards and two touchdowns. He had to give God the praise. That’s how God shows out sometimes; but even when He doesn’t work so extravagantly in our favor — He’s always doing something great for us behind the scenes.
