We all know prayer is both important and very effective. But when you add fasting with prayer, it’s like [amplifying] your prayers. It also brings you closer to God in many ways. Satan will try to stop you from fasting, if he can’t stop you, he’ll try to hinder you during a fast. Stay strong and focus on God, and all will be well — regardless of what Satan tries to do. We fast for many different reasons, spiritual strength, deliverance from addiction, guidance, and a breakthrough of some kind. Those are some of the most common reasons. When we fast, we show God that we’re serious about whatever we are fasting for.
Even though fasting is a powerful tool God gave us, it’s not an immediate cure for all. Have faith and give it time. God is always working thing out for your good. God bless you and yours brothers and sisters!
