According to the Washington Examiner, the Family Life Education Advisory Committee, which is appointed by the Democrats who control the Fairfax school board. Are not acting as a mechanism for feedback from the committee, but instead is forcing gender ideology on unsuspecting families.
“Often when [Fairfax County Public Schools] wants to do something, they appoint a committee with people with viewpoints to get the outcome they want, ask for community feedback, then ignore or manipulate the feedback,” Fairfax County Parents Association President Bonnie Myshrall told a local television station. “It’s a pattern we’ve seen repeatedly, from whether parents wanted in-person school to the [school calendar] … and now FLE.”
This is evidenced by the introduction of the Equality Act, which would codify gender ideology into federal law, and the celebration of the mutilation of healthy children’s bodies.
Furthermore, Democrats are pushing for the teaching of “gender identity” in schools down to the kindergarten level, and are even advocating for parents who oppose transgender ideology or irreversible drugs and surgeries for kids to lose custody of their children. [1][2][3][4][5]
