Jesus Heals A Leper – The Chosen Series Clip

Jesus is a miracle worker! This is an awesome clip from the Chosen Series. Jesus cleansing a leper is one of the miracles of Jesus. The story is found in all three of the Synoptic Gospels: Matthew 8:1–4, Mark 1:40–45 and Luke 5:12–16.

If you need to be healed pray that Jesus will heal you; have faith in God and you will see miracles in your life — I’m a living witness to the miracles of Jesus! Here’s the clip.

These days leprosy is easily curable; but it wasn’t in those days, and people hated lepers. If you’re not familiar with leprosy, here’s a little info. Leprosy is a chronic, but now curable infectious disease, mainly causing skin lesions and nerve damage.

Leprosy is caused by infection with the bacterium Mycobacterium leprae. It mainly affects the skin, eyes, nose and peripheral nerves. These days leprosy is rare because it’s so easily treated. But when Jesus came to earth 2,000 years ago, there was no cure. Jesus healed other lepers and many other handicapped people during his earthly ministry. And Jesus still heals today.

Here is a list of some of the miracles of Jesus mentioned in the Bible:

  1. Turning water into wine at a wedding in Cana (John 2:1-11)
  2. Healing of the royal official’s son (John 4:46-54)
  3. Healing of the paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda (John 5:1-15)
  4. Feeding of the 5,000 with five loaves and two fish (Matthew 14:13-21)
  5. Walking on water (Matthew 14:22-33)
  6. Healing of the blind man (John 9:1-7)
  7. Healing of the deaf and mute man (Mark 7:31-37)
  8. Feeding of the 4,000 with seven loaves and a few fish (Matthew 15:32-39)
  9. Healing of the demon-possessed boy (Matthew 17:14-20)
  10. Coin in the fish’s mouth (Matthew 17:24-27)
  11. Healing of the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25-34)
  12. Raising of Lazarus from the dead (John 11:1-44)
  13. Healing of the 10 lepers (Luke 17:11-19)
  14. Healing of the man born blind (John 9:1-41)
  15. Healing of the high priest’s servant’s ear (Luke 22:50-51)

These miracles are some of the most well-known and celebrated events in the Christian faith, demonstrating Jesus’ Power and Love for those in need.
