Are you feeling stressed about hosting Easter dinner this year? You’re not alone! According to a recent survey, 78% of Americans find hosting Easter dinner to be a stressful experience. That’s a lot of people feeling the pressure!
It’s not just the day-of preparations that have people feeling anxious. 60% of respondents in the survey said that Easter dinner shopping was a stressful task. And once they get to the grocery store, nearly three-quarters of people (74%) find it challenging to find everything they need.
Despite the stress, most people (48%) are still planning to host Easter dinner at their homes this year. On average, they’re expecting about five guests to join them for the holiday meal. But with so many people feeling the pressure, it’s no wonder that 73% of respondents said they believe the holiday should be as stress-free as possible.
So what’s causing all this stress? Aside from the shopping and cooking, respondents in the survey cited other challenges as well. For example, 19% said they find it hard to welcome guests while prepping food, and 17% struggle with time management. And let’s not forget about the daunting task of cleaning up the kitchen afterward, which 15% of respondents said was a source of stress.
