There have been many highlights in American history, and it is difficult to narrow them down to just a few. However, some of the most significant highlights include:

- The Industrial Revolution (late 18th century-early 20th century): This was a period of rapid industrialization and technological advancement in America, which saw the development of new inventions and innovations that transformed the country’s economy and society.
- The Civil Rights Movement (1954-1968): This was a period of activism and protest by African Americans and their allies, who fought for equal rights and an end to racial segregation and discrimination in America.
- The Space Race (1957-1975): This was a competition between the United States and Soviet Union to explore space and achieve technological superiority. It led to many significant achievements, including the first human landing on the moon in 1969.
- The 9/11 Terrorist Attacks (2001): This was a tragic event that shook the country and led to significant changes in American foreign policy and national security.

All of us should appreciate the Civil War more than anything; without it, we would never have achieved the rest. But did you no that a large amount of foreigners helped win the war? This number includes 200,000 Germans, 150,000 Irish, and the remainder from other countries [2].
