Don’t Fear Enemy Attacks, God Causes Your Enemies to Suffer for Attacking You

All Christians have enemies, Christ said we would; so don’t be surprised when they harass and or attack you — that’s what enemies do. God will avenge you. However, don’t expect lightning bolts — God most commonly causes them to suffer by “their own deeds.” They don’t even see it as God’s wrath — because they have a [logical] explanation for what happens to them. Revenge is a sin, when we get revenge on our enemies, we are the ones sinning against God; and we will incur His wrath too, just like them — even though we can justify our actions. Don’t fret because people hate you, they hated Jesus as well.

John 15:18 – “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first.

They not only hate you, they also hate the “Jesus” in you. Many people,…in fact most people are [weak] to Satan’s influence; even we are sometimes, that’s why it’s so easy for Satan to raise up enemies against you. The enemy thinks he can steal dignity and peace from you, but as you release your anger to God, you keep your self-worth and calm instead.

Here’s the top 10 verses to assure you that ‘you don’t need’ to take [vengeance] against your enemies — God will do that for you, it’s automatic. They will suffer for everything they do to you.

Deut 28:7 – “The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.”

Deut 32:35 – “Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in due time; For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them.’”

Isaiah 41:11 – “Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.”

Isaiah 41:12 – “Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.”

Psalm 57: 6 – They spread a net for my feet— I was bowed down in distress. They dug a pit in my path— but they have fallen into it themselves.

Prov 26:27 – If you set a trap for others, you will get caught in it yourself. If you roll a boulder down on others, it will crush you instead.

Psalm 141:10 – Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I pass by safely.

Psalm 9:15 – “…In the net which they hid, their own foot has been caught.”

Psalm 94:23 – “He will repay them for their sins and destroy them for their wickedness; the Lord our God will destroy them.”

Isaiah 35:4 – “Say to those with fearful hearts, ‘Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, He will come with vengeance; with divine retribution He will come to save you.”

Satan hates everyone, even “his own” demons that are under his command. How much more do you think he will hate you; mainly the God in you? When they hated Jesus, it was because of the God in Him.

So you see, there’s no reason to seek revenge or even hold on to bitterness because of what your enemies have done. They did it to the God in you — God will avenge Himself! God does not want you to be vengeful or hateful towards your enemies. After all, you have nothing to fear of them; they can’t do anything that God doesn’t allow them to do.

Isaiah 41:10 – “fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

God will keep you safe, but that doesn’t mean bad things won’t happen to you. Yes God allows our enemies to get some blows in, we have to absorb the blows — and they do hurt, emotionally and sometimes physically. When this happens it’s important to remember, that everything God allows is for your good.

Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

He knows what He’s doing, God sees your future; and He needs you to be tough — we are in a battle, don’t forget that. He needs you to trust Him and allow Him to guide you. Endure and [trust] God with all your might — He is teaching you patience.

James 1:2-3 – “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

I hope these verses will sink into your spirit to strengthen you while you pass through your enemies; and go through the storms and trials of life. Stand tall in love and patience; don’t give up and don’t take revenge — God has you in His Loving Hands.
