In the Bible God warns people about harming and or causing problems for His people. Things will never work out good for them when God begins to [discipline] them for doing so. Yet and still, our enemies can’t resist doing things to us; it’s completely unproductive for them — they continue until they finally meet their demise. How foolish of them! Don’t they know God is not mocked? He means everything He says, and everything He says is a promise — because “He” said it.
Let’s focus on this verse in the Bible (Proverbs 24:15-16) for this teaching. I’m going to use the MSG Version for this particular verse; I read and quote the King James Version, but this MSG interpretation is very profound.
Proverbs 24:15-16 – Don’t interfere with good people’s lives; don’t try to get the best of them. No matter how many times you trip them up, God-loyal people don’t stay down long; Soon they’re up on their feet, while the wicked end up flat on their faces. — MSG Version
That’s the most profound modern version interpretation of that verse I’ve ever read. We always get back up, and we even get up stronger than before. We’ve seen this time and again; consequently, during these last days we’re going to see it even more so. We’ve been attacked from every [direction] more in these recent times than I’ve ever seen in my lifetime; Satan is furiously busy. God lets the attacks happen and we do feel the pain and hurt of it; however, they fall on their face for attacking us — it’s just a matter of time.
In the meantime we get stronger, so anything they do only makes us grow. God is in control of everything, and nothing happens without Him giving permission in the spirit realm. That means that Satan had to get the ok to attack. Once he’s given the green light, he gives his evil spirits permission only to go as far as God said he could go. And it’s always a doozy. But don’t fret, because it’s all for our good; we never see it for our good while it’s happening — trust God that it is.
All we have to do is keep pursuing God and doing our best to live right for His Glory. But here’s the most important part of this teaching, “We must forgive them and pray for their lives to be changed by God.” He can change anyone.
The wind doesn’t have to stop for you to keep walking toward Jesus. The situation doesn’t have to get better for you to see the glory of God in your life. Just know it will get better and that your reward for enduring Satan’s attack by his people, is surely coming — your reward is as sure as your victory!
