God is always worthy of all our praise and thankfulness; no matter how bad things look. Being thankful to God enhances our spiritual power, that’s how God designed it. The Psalmist King David thanked God in his [worst] times of life; he made terrible mistakes but, he ended very well in life. Here’s a quick verse from Psalms that sums it up perfectly.
Psalm 107:1 “O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”

No matter what, God has always given us plenty to be thankful for — that’s why we should always thank Him. Jesus continually thanked God the Father, even though He was in a country full of spiteful haters so to speak. And if Jesus did it, how much more should we?
It’s not always about financial blessings, there’s many other spiritual and physical blessings to be thankful for. If you’re reading this, you should be thankful that you can read. We tend to overlook the simple things like that.
Everything works for your good, especially the bad. Without thankfulness to God for EVERYTHING, we forget that very important fact. And we become inconsiderate of The Almighty Living God, and how He uses enemies and hard times to bless us.
I make it a habit to thank God as soon as I wake up. I wake up and as soon as my brain is aware I say, “Thank you Father for rising me this day.” Then I get out of bed; it just feels good for the very first words I speak when I awake are thankfulness to the God Who woke me. Try it for yourself. You will begin to get use to it every time you wake up, even from a nap.
Thanking God for EVERYTHING will not only make Him happy, it also makes you feel better. So try your best to be thankful for everything you can do, and all that you have. Always know and say out loud, “God is in control!” God bless you and yours brothers and sisters!
